@edegops Thanks! I’ll send it to you in a bit.
This was going to be my first quarter(not that quarter grades matter) with straight A’s. My school has a harder grading scale and you need a 93 or above. I just checked my grades one last time before they’re due tomorrow and of course, one class drops from a 96 to below a 90. What class is this? Religion! Not ap Chem or ap Spanish, but religion!!! I am so frustrated!
@soyunchico I used to have that same grading scale when I lived in TN and before NC changed theirs to 10 points. Most states don’t even have the 7 point scale
Taking subjects tests this Saturday -_-
Am I the only one from a school that does 100 point scale WEIGHTED GPAs only? I’m not even sure how to convert my GPA into a 4.0 scale because there are so many interpretations online and my counselor says my 92.76 weighted GPA equates to a 3.55? But it doesn’t make sense since 3.55 out of 4 is a 88.75? And GPAs can’t be more than 100? I’m really confused on how colleges compare students with different GPA point scales and numbers…
Sorry if it just sounds like I’m ranting…
@Sandy12345 Don’t worry about converting your GPA. Colleges will get a school profile from your GC that explains the GPA of your school. Many colleges have specific admissions representatives for specific areas. More than likely they have seen a GPA scale like yours. Also, some colleges actually recalculate your GPA so that everyone’s GPA is on the same scale.
just applied to my ED school last night! feeling so much relief, but i have this irrational fear that I forgot to send something or missed a question lol.
@QMusic Thank you! I feel so relieved!
Is there anyone who can help with my Madison Essay?
Submitted Stanford EA last night. We’ll see how that goes
I submitted all of my financial stuff for all of my Questbridge colleges! Let’s go!
Hey guys I just want to recommend r/ApplyingtoCollege (on Reddit). I’ve been spending a lot more time on there than here, mostly since it’s less toxic IMO and there’s helpful AMAs from time to time.
I fully agree^^^ the subreddit is much less toxic than CC and has verified admissions officers who answer your questions
@deeznuts Yeah, I go there often too. It’s a great subreddit!
wassup my class of 2017 people
how is everyone doing
I am stressed af
But college
So yeah
Congrats on surviving this far peace
WOOOO we survived EA/EDs!! Good luck to everyone working on University of California and December applications!!
@Faultystart YASSSSSSS WE DIDDDDDD SO EXCITED
About to take the sat and though my attire looks like I couldn’t care less I know I do care or I wouldnt be up this early on a weekend
My interview for USC is in two weeks, and it’s in a fancy hotel! I don’t have sophisticated attire, and I’m probably going to repel the interviewer with my awkwardness.
Wow you guys are more chill than the other classes lol
