@callmegray same here… even though it’s my dream school I’ve tried to tell myself that I have literally 0 chance of getting in so as to not get sad when rejected… hahahah
@jjlundy I tell myself the same thing… though it doesn’t work at times.
Hope will only cause you to be more sad. Just give up hope and be 100x more happy when you learn you got accepted.

I keep telling myself I won’t get into my reaches, and I know logically that they’re all long shots, but somehow not getting in doesn’t seem realistic… I can’t force myself to give up hope!
@eyrar99 I just looked through your posts and I think you have great chances. But even if you don’t get in, I’m sure you will accomplish just as much at a lower tier school 
cheesy music and inspirational quotes. Seriously though, you can’t let admissions officers define you, your self worth, or your successes.

I keep hearing that EA/REA decisions come out a week before the official date… Is that true? Stanford’s date is December 15th, so would that mean it comes out this Friday on the 9th?

Georgetown is like my dream school but I’m so worried I have no chance because I had a health condition which didn’t let me do any sports but I can’t exactly hold up a sign for colleges with that information so they look at me and will just see academics
