How’s the college admissions journey treating ya? I’m supposed to be hearing from my dream school in about 10 days (the 15th), but I keep hoping that I get it earlier. As for my acceptances, I got into both my safety schools. One I know almost nothing about and is a HBCU; the other is a state school and is popular among my HS.

@tigerman333 That was our last unit. We just took a test on torque & static equilibrium, but our teacher did not prepare us at ALL. I self-taught myself the material during my free and lunch through Khan Academy 
We’re almost done!! We can do it Last night I couldn’t fall asleep cuz I kept thinking about how FAST everything came. I’m definitely not ready to start living on my own in half a year. What happened to being a cute lil freshman 
@notanotherjanet As a member of the Greek community and a part of one of these organizations this is highly offensive. Sororities at UC Berkeley make it their goal to give women a place to feel comfortable as well as better the community. Comparing specific houses to characters from a movie about bullying is absurd and beyond inaccurate. Making the claim that sororities are cliques is demeaning the sisterhood and values they are founded on. This clearly is a stab at a community on campus that does nothing but support the rest of the student body.

Hello everybody! It’s been awhile. Can’t sleep, got an email today that Penn ED decisions come out on Friday. The worst part is I have an interview for ANOTHER SCHOOL two hours after decisions are released, and my GC says I should wait to find out about Penn until AFTER the interview. On the one hand, that makes sense because I don’t want to be bawling at my interview if I’m rejected (which I probs will be,) but on the other hand I just want to know!!! :((
@bfc2017 I’m with the guidance counselor. Distract yourself as best as you can before your interview so the nausea doesn’t accumulate and then check your results after the interview.

@MissSuzyQ Yes, at Emerson. What is going on? It’s so frustrating. My daughter has received emails saying they have what they need and then it has not been updated in the portal. The non custodial parent form that was mailed has never shown up. Seems so unorganized!
@KellyC123 My portal says they received everything (finally—even though they put my mom’s W2 in the admissions tab rather than financial aid) but they never got my noncustodial profile in the mail. I had to upload it to the actual portal and now they’ve received it. It’s kind of annoying, but I guess in theory it would be easier if all schools had a financial aid section of the portal where you can upload all the documents by scanning rather than through the mail.
