High School Class of 2017

I’ve heard about schools like that, but my school is really big. I mean, we have drama, but it’s not like that.

My school is big too so it’s not like that, though there is drama within the ranks of the more popular people.

I have been to three very small schools and the drama is insane. Its pretty bad but you also learn who to stay away from. At my current school, a medium sized school, the drama is among the most “popular” or “bratty” or “rich.” Stay away from them and the drama is not half as bad.

I go to a really large school. There is drama among the different groups, but news of one person typically doesn’t spread across the whole school.

So, what are you guys going as for Halloween? I’m going to be the Ninth Doctor, although I won’t be able to go trick-or treating because I have to perform at the football game (some idiot decided that the last day of our homecoming should be on Halloween). I’ll also have to change in the middle of the day (and then change back) because I have to perform at an assembly for Colorguard.

@topaz1116‌ I don’t normally participate in Halloween. I usually just stand outside in jeans and a t-shirt and give out candy. I’ve only gone trick-or-treating once. BUT I am going to Chipotle in costume to get a burrito for $3

Probably nothing. I’ve never done nothing for Halloween before, I wonder what it’ll be like.

Wait Chipotle is giving out $3 burritos?

Why can’t I like, not have to perform?

I’m also pretty sure I aced my math midterm, so I think I might get an A in the class without the curve.

My AP English Language teacher put in the grade for my socratic seminar, a zero. The only grade in the speaking and listening category for me. It dropped my grade from an A to a very low B. I can just feel my class rank slipping away…
If only the speaking and listening grade didn’t require speaking…oh well.

It’s never too early to get ready for college. I know that I messed up my high school grades and can give one piece of advice, DO NOT SLACK OFF REGARDLESS OF HOW SMART YOU ARE. I slacked and am in a tough position to get into colleges now.

please take a look at my thread and comment if you have any

My grades have already slipped. To late to save those.

and yeah… $3 burritos

I’m so happy man. Got a high A for my Linear Algebra test and my health (yes ik) got raised up to a 90! (we don;t have A- or anything)

@Calchong I go to a pretty small school, but I’m never involved in anything like that, but a lot of it goes on and it’s so pathetic. These people just have the same conversation every damn day about something so-and-so said.

For Halloween, I live in the middle of no where, so I can’t hand-out candy, and I can’t drive somewhere to go trick-or-treating even if I wanted to. xD Most people just go to a party

@livelaugh7 Ooh $3 Chipotlé burritos you say? :-/ I don’t know if I’ll go though because I’m going there anyways for my birthday this Sunday.

Aww you guys are celebrating Halloween. :frowning: This will probably be my first year not trick-or-treating, which stinks because Halloween is on a Friday this year, the perfect day for trick-or-treating!
@topaz1116 Oh that’s very interesting! I was the Eleventh Doctor last year.

I got assigned a group project for AP World History today. Surprisingly I got a good group, which is strange because I have the WORST luck with group projects, I always get stuck with bad people in my groups.

WOOHOO HEY GUYS. Class of 2017 :))))))

Speaking about class rank guys… so is it true that even the valedictorian could have a bad freshman rank?

I’m predicted to be my class’s valedictorian. I had highest grades freshman year and for some reason I was 32 freshman year. And then my counselor said that after freshman year the “REAL” rank starts and that’s when I will see a noticeable difference and it will be tons better.

Why is that, though? She said it was because of some Pre-IB course they had a magnet middle school, but after freshman year that stuff slips away and our weighted courses come into play.

LMK what you peeps think :))

I’m a sophomore currently by the way. It’s second quarter. I’m checking class rank after the first semester.

@Greninja‌ OMG AP WORLD HISTORY my teacher is TERRIBLE!!!

Just took an AP Gov midterm. Yeah, my GPA is dropping a point or two after that.

Aww :frowning:

I have an AP Chem midterm tomorrow ahhhh I’ve been studying nonstop.

And now I’m going back lol
