@BucketsUCSC They’re usually set up in codes. Code Red, Yellow and Green.
Red = Closed
Yellow = 2 - Hour Delay (Due to Snow)
Green = 1 - Hour Delay (Due to Snow)
I’m currently watching the news and weather, and I’m actually kind of worried. I live in the NOVA and I-95 and the beltway are currently in gridlock. And the worst is yet to come. We’re expected to get more snow Friday afternoon and it’s expected to a blizzard at least 1 1/2 feet of MORE! This is expected to be a repeat of Snowmaggeden 2010. The snow started around 5:30pm and people still haven’t got home. I know it doesn’t sound that bad, but it is in Virginia. People in NOVA treat like the apocalypse! #thewinterawakens
Update: I just saw the news. People are literally lined up at stores in D.C. buying food. The meat, bread, and canned food aisles are empty. It looks like Black Friday.
@ak2018 The weather for me is going to sunny and a balmy 21 degrees.
@BucketsUCSC At my school, we have 3 snow days calculated in when we get off of school for the summer. If we have, say, 2 snow days that year, then we subtract a day. Reverse for more than 3 snow days. Last year we had 3, this year so far we have had none. Usually the snow storms happen on weekends or the superintendent gives us a delay. Most of the snow storms for the year, though, happen in February or March. January is just very cold yet sunny.
OH NO I JUST CHECKED MY GRADE AND I HAVE AN 89.91% IN HONORS CHEM AND SHE DOESN’T ROUnDDD!!! WHAT DO I DO SHOULD I TALK TO HER??? )))))))))))))))))))))):
AND WE HAVE NO SCHOOL TOMORROW AND THROUGH THE WEEKEND. WE HAVE A TWO-HOUR DELAY ON MONDAY. THIS WILL MAKE THIS OUR SECOND SNOW DAY SO FAR AND OUR SECOND DELAY.
I had a dual enrollment Sociology class last semester and I just checked my grade and it was listed as a 95. This isnt what I got in the course though, so I told my friend who took the same class and she also got a 95. We did have different grades, so who do you guys think I should contact about this? The college or my school?
@HelloThereHola I would contact would contact the teacher first to see if something changed them or if it is just showing them wrong. If you find out it is displayed wrong, I would contact whichever you found out about the grade through.
