I’m not trying to be mean or anything, I just can’t stop laughing! I seriously love memes! :))

People are complaining on Nickelodeon Facebook Page about The B.E.T. Awards yet this is probably the best and most relevant thing to have aired on Nickelodeon in the last few years! :))

Does anybody here go on the ACT subreddit?

My first sat practice test is tomorrow. Let’s see if Khan Academy is helping!

Is it hard to study for the new SAT since it is so new and there probably aren’t that many credible practice tests you can take.

@kassh4 I’m using Khan Academy, which has teamed up with the collegeboard, so it is really the collegeboard that is making the tests and practices

@kassh4 I don’t go on the ACT Subreddit, but I do frequent a few others…

@nyuhopeful44 Good luck! I’m so thankful that Khan Academy exists.

I really don’t get why AP scores are released by state. We all took them at the same time. They are all scored at the same time. Why make some people wait?

@nyuhopeful44 I think its because they don’t want the servers to overload with everyone checking their scores. I’m frustrated, since CT is one of the last areas to get their scores, but I understand why it had to be done. Hopefully next year the orders will switch.

So today was my first day of summer school and it was better than my first day of both freshman and sophomore year combined. So basically, even though my parents were home, I decided to walk all the way from my house to the nearest public bus stop that would take me to my school bus stop, which was my base school. I walked 1.7 miles to the public bus stop and got there in 30 minutes. I waited about 4 minutes and then the bus came into view. It was 5 minutes early and it would not leave the stop until 6:09am. Once it was 6:09am, it pulled off and went to the next bus stop, which was barely a tenth of a mile away. Then, we stopped at one more stop before mine and then we went to mine. The bus stop I was dropped of at was about 1.5 miles from my original bus stop. Once I got off, I walk 1/2 of a mile to my school bus stop, which was to my base school, not my actual school. The school bus picked us up from our school about 20 minutes after I got there and we left to go to summer school, which was at another school. The summer school wasn’t really that far away. We got there in like 15 minutes.

Once we got to the school, the buses started to let there students off and our very sweet bus driver lady told us the bus number and to remember for the ride to back to my base school in the afternoon. We got into the building at 7:12am and there were huge lists on which were alphabetized by last name. I saw my last and saw which room I was in and which teacher I was with. I saw some of my friends from my current show up and I was like  “Yay, people I actually know”. I even saw this one guy who was in the same Health and PE 2 class as I was.

So the bell rang and I went to my class, which was room 1301, and there were already at least 30 people there. The teacher came in 5 minutes later and introduced himself. Some people, however, were still showing up, but he continued. At first, when I came in, everyone thought I was the teacher because I looked like I was old enough. Once the teacher finished introducing himself, this really buff and tall teacher came in looking for something. I would later find out that he was the teacher my PE teacher from my school last year told me to say “Hi” to and I did. Our teacher then tried getting our student handbooks and sent two girls to go get them, but they weren’t ready yet, so we still had to wait for them. While we were waiting our teacher decided to call roll. Once he got to my last name, a simple 5-letter last name, he mispronounced it. He said my first name perfectly, but messed my last name, which most do anyway. Once he was finished call roll, we kind of just sat there until our 1st break time. I decided to read my summer book for AP English 11 and wait until break. Once we got to break, I got to know my classmates a little more, including their names. There are two Kaylees, one is gay and the other is emo, S.J., I just called him S.J. because I can’t remember his name, Matt, Scott, Jessica, Omar, and me. We are our class’s group of queers :)) Seriously, we all just became friends today! During our 1st break, we played a little card game I played before known as B.S… Once break was over, we head back to class, then went to the gym. While at the gym, we kind of just went around for a few minutes. I decided to run a little bit, and S.J. literally threw his sweater down onto the ground and I almost tripped. :)) After that, our teacher told us to warm up. The buff teacher had his Health and PE 1 class with us. Our teacher gave us our assigned spots. And I was one of our line leaders. He asked if any of the line leaders wanted to volunteer to lead the stretches as it would help our grade and I literally ran up there. I was like “bout to earn that A today”. After we were done with our stretches, we toured the school courtyards and the track. Our teacher said we would be running a timed-mile each day, but the time would not affect our grade. Our participation, however, would. Once we finished touring the grounds, we decided to walk around the track. The other girls were asking if we wanted to do a 100-meter dash and I did and I “Usain Bolted” everyone. We did it again and I still smoked everyone and all while making a good impression on the teachers. I definitely earned an A.

After that, we went inside to get ready for lunch. Once we went to lunch, I didn’t eat anything because I already ate. Gay Kaylee :)) (I’m lowkey really disrespectful for calling her that) gave me a Natural Valley Honey 'N Oats Granola Bar, which I happily ate. We played B.S. again until lunch was over. After lunch, we were originally going to start our drivers Ed lesson, but decided to go to the gym and play some games until the end of the day. I played volleyball at first, which I kind of sucked at, and then went to play soccer. All I can say is those little freshmen definitely “broke my ankles”. I, however, was still able to score three goals and pull a hat trick, I think. Once the day was over, Omar sprayed me with a lot of cologne and we went inside until the bell rang. Once it did, we were out. I was talking with Gay Kaylee and S.J. on my way out. I said “goodbye” and see you tomorrow to them as I went to my bus to take me back to my base school. Since, there was so much traffic and construction going on in my area, it took us 25 minutes to get there. Once I was there, I waited for my dad to pick me up and take me home.

@nyuhopeful44 @LeopardFire I’m sure you can do the VPN thing that @gormar099 described.

Does anyone else hate Jacob Sartorius? In class today people were singing his song and I was like: %-( We also sang the Pokémon theme song!

Who above 12 likes him is the real question

Over the weekend, I went to HOBY. I barely slept, since I had to pack. It was so so so amazing and OUTSTANDING! My friend and I both went. Friday was our first day, and I woke up at 6 AM. My friend’s mom drove us there. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by shouts and screams. Everyone was so happy. I felt a little intimidated at the junior staff’s cheerfulness and excitement; they were literally yelling at us and waving signs.

We went to register, and I met some new people in my dorm room. To be honest, the dorms sucked. The beds creaked and it was stuffy and hot. When we got outside, we had to do cheers. There was the outstanding cheer, the hoby cheer, the turkey cheer, etc. At first, it was weird, but we got used to it. We were separated into groups.

For the sake of anonymity, I won’t mention my group name, but I will say that we instantly became a family.

The seminars were amazing. I loved our speakers, and they really inspired me to become a leader, and do more. I felt empowered.

Later, we did a cheer off with Pennsylvania. It was incredible. The room was filled with energy, and everyone put their hearts into cheering.

We had another speaker, he wasn’t as good as the first, but I enjoyed his talk.

Then came the social party and our group cheer. It was so lit. We sang an a cappella. The dancing and the people were so amazing.

Later, we had a group bonding session, and I have to say that it made me open up a lot. More to come…

You guys are all doing cool things and im sitting at home cleaning out junk for a garage sale
@LeopardFire @nyuhopeful44 They did switch the order of when your scores come out. Last year it was east coast to west coast, this year its west coast to east coast.

California so i get my scores first yayy

I thought scores were released east to west but guess it’s west to east this year
