@ak2018 Make sure to get through the whole section because the first 40 are usually pretty easy but the last 20 tend to be pretty hard.
RIP I got sent to CC Jail
What’s CC Jail?
Also, I’m taking four APs next year: AP Language & Composition, AP Physics 1, and AP Calc AB/BC Combined.
You get put in “Jail” if you violate the terms of service or something like that.
@DaEmmJay23 What do you mean AB/BC combined? Doesn’t BC include AB?
Not “something” like that. Exactly that.
@kassh4 My school runs a block schedule. After pre-calc, students have the option to take AB every other day or BC everyday, so its basically BC. It’s just that it counts as 2 APs towards my GPA and I get two times the work as AB students. So, I’m taking 4 APs in the eyes of my county’s grading system.
Got lots of stats hw
@skieurope so you can still post even with the jail sign?
Just ordered a couple of SAT prep books hopefully they’ll help but my main enemy is laziness. Everyday I tell myself I am going to study for the SAT and I just end up watching Netflix for 8 hours
Do you have to take the ACT/SAT to graduate? We have to take the PSAT in 10th grade and the SAT in 11th as a graduation requirement, which I don’t like cause I want to take the ACT, and now I have to take both
One can respond in existing threads but cannot start new threads while behind bars.
So apparently, they are changing the ACT! :((
"You might want to get the new ACT prep guide released in May.
According to Jed Applerouth on ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ blog the ACT is changing.
Quote:
The SAT isn’t the only college admissions test that’s changing this year. While the College Board has dominated the testing news with its complete redesign of the SAT, the creators of the ACT have responded by revising their flagship test to incorporate significantly harder math and science content. In typical ACT fashion, these changes have arrived absent press releases or any semblance of fanfare. Rather, the ACT, Inc. simply folded these significant changes into its most recent official prep guide, released in May 2016. The new test forms in the official guide include advanced math topics never before seen on any prior ACT and a speedier-than-ever science section that demands a much higher level of scientific knowledge and fluency. "
Do you guys think I should start the AP English Language 2016-2017 Thread?
I just got a 96% on my Unit 2, 3, and 4 test.
@ak2018 Yeah go ahead and start it if no one had already
How much emphasis are you guys putting into memorizing vocab for sat?
None so far
none
@wildguy57 instead of rote memorizing a large bank of “SAT words” for the new SAT what would be more efficient is to simply read more and get used to complicated texts
Anyone know the guy that originally started this thread. I have never seen him post on here
