Finally submitted my Emerson EA app! I just had to edit my essays, and I didn’t have any time yesterday. Next up are my Penn State honors college essays. Those aren’t due until the 30th, and I’ve already started. Too many essays. Ugh.
I’m feeling so burnt out with college applications right now. I think I’m going to take a week off then go back and look at my RD list.
3 college applications down, 6 to go! Submitted for OSU, OSU-Newark, and BGSU.
Did anyone else apply to UPenn ED?
@Kh521k Submitted my ED app yesterday! Applied to Wharton.
I don’t really have the pressure as some of you with college deadlines because mine are pushed back and 4/6 of my college choices have rolling admission, but I wish everyone the best. It seems like everyone is really stressed out and frustrated. I want all of you to reward yourself in some way. Tonight I’m eating the whole pint of my favorite ice cream while I watch Mr. Robot because I finished 3 apps on Sunday.
I applied EA to Northeastern on Friday and sent in EA Applications to OSU and Cincinnati today. I know my Morrill essay sucks a lot, but it’s not considered for admission so I’ll be alright.
I also found out today that I got accepted to Loyola Chicago with a $22,000 scholarship!! It really made me feel better after EA apps. Now the only schools I have left are American, Macalester, and WashU.
Just submitted REA to Stanford. Hello, nerves. I’m already prepped for rejection
@Iridescentgaze LOL Wish I could relate!
Also, just finished my GMU app! Have you guys seen the “Professional Procrastinator” filter on Snapchat pertaining to early college deadlines? :))
May we all find our “Holistic Match”
Ahh my boss finally submitted her lor! Talk about waiting till the last minute!
woo, just submitted 3 apps! my essays are crappy but i’m just glad i’m finished…
I never wrote the “optional” essay for Harvard. WHY DIDN’T THEY JUST MAKE IT REQUIRED? Half of me is stressing and wants to try and crank one out right now. The other half doesn’t care at all because my only goal at this point is to get into Johns Hopkins. My CA essay is really good so I don’t think the lack of a supplement will hurt me /too/ much? Oh well I applied on whim anyways. At least when I have a rejection letter my family will finally stop asking me about the Ivy League!
@dietcig I didn’t write it either. I’m a person of few words and I didn’t feel I had anything more to say.
@ski_racer thank you for that rush of validation! It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who decided not to do it
submitted EA apps for Case Western Reserve, Trinity University, U of Tulsa, Rose-Hulman, and Villanova last night… not sure I want to do engineering anymore but parents still wanted me to apply to Rose. Just gotta finish Washington and Lee and Notre Dame RD apps now. At least I got the notification for acceptance to the University of Alabama Honors College!
I’ve written so many essays recently that I feel like all my creativity has gone down the drain.
I applied to Case Western and Fordham last night. I have University of Colorado due on the 15th. Fordham was completely on a whim because my mom said they gave me a fee waiver. Now I just need to send test scores.
I counted all of my essays for my RD apps and I have 17 to do. :(( :(( This is going to be a long 2 months.
So you guys know how I just quit my job for safety reasons? Well, Panera Bread hired me today!
I am feeling so burnt out guys. Senioritis is hitting me hard. I literally have stopped wanting to do anything school related but I still really care about my grades, which is the worst combo ever in case any of you were wondering. I applied to all of my colleges about a month (ish) ago, and I’ve got accepted to 3/5. Should hear from my last EA this month, and my last college sometime in December or January. Now that I’m accepted places, I kinda just want to give up on school even though I know I shouldn’t and I really don’t want to. High school is just so exhausting, and I’m not excited about only having the summer to get over my senior burnout…
