I’ve been trying to decide between 3 different planners, like I know that what your planner looks like isn’t important but I low key-high key care what my planner looks like.
@adiacs My planner is school-issued. Is that not the norm where you live?
We have school ones but some people choose to get their own
Planners? Like the little notebooks with calendars and spaces for you to write down homework, etc. every day?
My school doesn’t distribute planners (just a little book of hall passes that they call a planner, but it’s not really one). We have to buy our own.
@greenlegobrick yep
@awesomepolyglot freshmen get a free planner from the school but after that you’re on your own.
.
Huh. Of the 4 middle and high schools I’ve gone to, every single one has given students planners. Elementary, too.
im gay too (though not out irl) so like half of this thread is lgbt lmao
currently trying to mentally block out summer homework
my elementary and middle schools gave out planners, but my high school doesn’t bother. honestly, i don’t need one. i was like reliant on them before to remember my homework/what books to bring home from my locker but now it’s just something i can remember.
I use sticky notes 1000% of the time
Steven Universe marathon woot
Is anybody going to watch any Olympic events? My sister is going to watch swimming, and I’ll probably watch fencing. However, the Olympics start in the first day of school, so it’ll be hard to watch much.
Gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics
We’ll prob just watch whatever’s on when we get the chance to watch-- all the events are pretty cool
My school wanted us to all buy planners, so I got one at the start of last year
I started forgetting to use it, and then I lost it p.p
@awesomepolyglot I kicked off the summer by watching all of Steven Universe
so that is legit
I used to watch Wimbledon (while I played tennis), but not anymore. Speaking of fencing- I’ve always wanted to do that!
If I could do any sport, I would totally be a fencer :0
@IrrationalPepsi I get where you’re coming from, yo. I probably live in the most liberal place in Indiana- meaning when an LGBTQ+ friend (or even a friend of color 0.0) is a couple miles out of town, things can be weird.
I hope you can find people around you to be allies- I know keeping things from parents can be a burden. :<
Good luck!
In other words, I finished my summer class today! I did hella well on the final- prolly 'cause I overprepared >.>
guyss watch table tennisssss
@anon73469143 My mom used to be a really, really good table tennis player. Shame it didn’t pass on to me
@anon73469143 table tennis is my sport now
I played it erry Friday for like two years <333
planning on watching the USWNT win the olympic soccer gold, swimming for sure, and track obviously. not sure if there’s anything else that’s really interesting.
