Is anybody doing the international science olympiads this year? I’m taking the USABO, NACLO, and USAAAO tests plus the AMC 10. I’m studying for USABO and the AMC 10 and preparing for NACLO, but not the USAAAO-at least not yet.
i had a 3.6 gpa but it was all 90s except for spanish which is a junior class. still think i can get into the ivies
@CharlotteLetter @ZealousScholar Just wondering, what DE classes are you guys taking? My school only allows juniors and seniors to do DE (still on the fence if I’m going to do it next year or not)

My school just sends kids off to DE at the community college instead of offering higher level classes.
On rare occasion, someone goes to the local four-university instead! That’s me, this year.
Normally it’s just juniors and seniors over there, but my counselor wanted me to apply for the OPEN program anyways. I got in!
@Shanban1607 Data analysis and calc-based stats at the university plus technical writing at the community college. I’m still trying to get into numerical analysis at the university as the section is already overfilled. The dual credit program at the university is designed for juniors and seniors, but the community college program is designed for sophomores as well.
@awesomepolyglot Do you know anything about homeschoolers doing AMC 10 or maybe AMC 12?

I’m just doing history’s and english’s. My science and maths are AP. Next year though, I will be full dual enrollment. My highest level class being Dual Enroll Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2.
@CharlotteLetter Nope, but if u take the 10 u should brush up on those algebra 1 and 2 skills from what, 4th grade?

I took the test at my local university! You should the math department website at yours. They should have a way to let you sign up, if it’s offered there.

@OMPursuit My university doesn’t offer it. No university or community college within reasonable distance does as far as I know.
I wonder how hard the AMC 10 is compared to the 12. Hopefully I don’t do too badly on it… my AMC 12 score does not give me hope.
