@zbrown01 it’s cool that your AP Lit class has you write your college app essays!
I did that in AP Lang! I got a 92, but I still haven’t gotten around to seeing my teacher’s feedback… school got out May 18th. Yikes.
I am still kinda clueless in where I want to go to college tbh. I feel like my flagship in my best option because I would be able to transfer all of my CC credits, which would put me two years ahead, but I want to apply some other places like GWU and American, as well as (of course) my reaches, with my main ones probably being Tufts and Brown, but my reach list is always changing. I honestly just want a strong IR program. A good history program would be nice, but not as important as IR for me.
I emailed my counselor about a week and a half ago to ask if it was advisable to start my Common App. She just emailed me and told me to wait too late
Just thought of a slogan/jingle with Class of 2019:
Forget The Rest, Class Of 2019 Is The Best!
AP French
AP Macro Economics
Government
Physics
AP English Literature and Composition
Digital Media 3 (Semester)
Family Health (Semester)
Statistics (Honors)
10 days before AP scores come out (for me, at least) and 13 for the SAT!
How did everyone do on AP tests?
I did well I suppose, not as well as I wanted to though.
4s on Chem, APUSH, and Lang and 5 on CSA
@zbrown01 That’s really good! Much better than I did — 5 on Lang, 4 on Gov, and (gulp) 3 on Microecon.
Yay, the chat’s not dead!
5’s on APUSH, Lang, and Chem, and a 4 on Physics 1.
5s on Lang, chem, CSP, and stats, 4 APUSH! I was pleasantly surprised
5 on lang, 4 on APUSH and Calc AB, 3 on Environmental :/. I definitely did not manage my studying time efficiently, especially having two sets of two tests back to back.
I got a mf 5 on Calc BC mfs lol, I made a 32 in the class and didn’t really know my BC stuff so ayeeee
@IrrationalPepsi Nice on the exam! Loooooong time no see!
@awesomepolyglot lol right, I also got a 5 on APUSH and made my teacher cry
Is anyone doing anything interesting/meaningful over the summer?
When I’m not working, I’m bored out of my mind listening to and playing music all day and that’s pretty much it
First time posting in the forum but I am in this class as well!
@ahardboiledegg , not doing much other than working and visiting family this summer, but it feels super busy anyway! Don’t want to think about college apps (yikes)
Anyone else waiting on June SAT scores? I can’t believe they took so long!
@yearbooker I feel you. I’ve tried drafting my essays but they’re just turning out really poorly so I’m putting a hold on that for a little while.
@yearbooker I took the June SAT too! I only improved by 30 points overall, but I’m quite disappointed in the scoring of the test. I only missed 3 on the math and got a 720?? lol
