High School Class of 2020

Hello everyone! Here is my Freshman schedule for the upcoming school year!

Pre-Calculus Honors
AP World History
AP Computer Science Principles (entry course for Tech program)
Honors Biology
English 1 Honors

In terms of extracurricular activities, I am shooting for Science Olympiad/FRC Robotics and the school newspaper if possible. I’m not sure if I will have enough time for clubs, but we will see.

School starts on Aug 8, nervous! ;o

Fun fact: you may look at your frosh schedules and think, “I won’t have time for people! Too much homework!” But I was able to join an insanely fun number of clubs ( I think it was in the neighborhood of 8?) and make a ton of friends with the third-hardest freshman schedule in the school.

Is anyone doing/trying out for any sports in freshman year?
I’m doing tennis, and wanted to know what everyone else was doing

@10s4life @awesomepolyglot Thank you :slight_smile:

HEY ALL YOU RISING FRESHMEN! Just popping in from the HS Class of 2018 Thread!

Just wanted to say that if you guys need any advice on next year, want me to rate your schedules, or really anything, just @ me.

Your thread is definitely coming up nicely. You may have 56 posts now, but just wait until you have over 7,000.

Thread’s dead, honey, thread’s dead.

(It’s not tho, but better that than procrastination. Don’t let CC distract you too much!)

@ak2018 Thank you very much for letting us know.

@catsarecute32 I plan on trying out for the swimming team. Thanks for asking! I have a friend who is playing tennis, nice to meet someone else who likes playing too.

Anyone nervous for high school?

Im worried about GPA. I go to a public school, and they have unique rules lol

Also, we freshman are awesome! I think we can go in with a clean slate, new school, new teachers, explore ourselves, and learn new things that can improve our interests!

It may sound a little nerve wracking, but we can do it

Heyy popping in from the Class of 2019. Don’t stress out too much about freshmen year, it’s fun and rewarding. Make sure to be the best kid you can be, don’t be scared to make new friends and get to know your teachers and especially your counselor! Focus on your grades freshmen year because it will certainly be the easiest and your GPA will thank you later
