So I just got CAP’d from UT. I don’t think I can afford going to SMU without drowning in debt. My GPA in my AP courses is falling (74 in AP Bio; God bless Barron’s). I’m not mentally prepared to live on my own away from home. Only AP class I’m not losing interest in at this point is Macro.
I suggest you talk to someone local that knows you.
Sounds like some depression…talk to your parents or your Guidance Counselor or School Psychologist.
Are you self-sabotaging? are you not ready to live away from home? Would the CAP be okay because you wuold be better to live near home at first? Is it time to take a gap year?
