<p>I recently was admitted to BME at CP. I know how great of a program it is there, but I am definitely deterred by the graduation rate and transfer rate. I look to graduate in four years and have all four at CP. Am I reaching for the stars?</p>
<p>No. CalPoly is making a big push to improve its 4-year graduation rate. It is one of the few positive things coming from the budget crisis (4-year students cost much less than 5/6 year students). A number of changes are being implemented to help students get done in 4 years. Of course, BME is not an easy major, so you have some hard work ahead, but getting done in 4-years should not be considered reaching for the stars.</p>
