HKU BBA VS Duke

Im kinda torn between Duke and HKU (BBA Acc&Fin)
HKU is a lot cheaper and I think going to HKU will help me save money for MBA…
but some people say HKU’s prestige is exaggerated and firms in Hong Kong employ students who graduated from top US unis than people from HKU.
Any advice?

well according to HKU 99.8% of their graduates get employed within one year they graduate…

Duke doesn’t have an undergraduate business school but job recruiting is terrific and if you have any intentions of working in the US, the Duke name will open a lot of doors for you while HKU is virtually unknown. On the flip side, if you want to work in Hong Kong, a degree from Duke will be very well recognized and probably make you as competitive of a candidate from HKU. If you can afford it, I would go to Duke. The college experience in the U.S. is much more enjoyable too and you can really broaden your horizons a lot by going to uni internationally. It’ll make you a better business leader in the long run because your international exposure and outlook will be highly valued.
