dude leave scholarship do i have chances of getting in?

Haha, chill out guys. It usually takes UST about 2 months for an offer If you guys wanna get in touch with seniors (to ask any question about UST), you might want to join the facebook group:

@Carni - Thanks. Still very anxious though. Btw, you have any idea how much time does HKU take?

@yourfriend - Didn’t you get selected for interview? Why you so worried about admission then?

@ applicant007 and all other fellow indians-

i am a BITSIAN but have been selected by the HKU and UST people for a degree.
comment on IIT vs UST vs hku dudes.

btw all you 12thees, are you trying for IIT’S.

does interview mean they give admission coz my interviews over n it ws good?

Yourfriend - I think so. Interview was for HKU right? Btw, when did you send your application and have you heard anything from UST?

@ sriramcarlos
I’m trying for IIT.
I am pretty acquainted with the course with a few brush ups left in a few topics.

@Applicant0007, it takes roughly the same time ~~ 2 months.

@ dhawal
so dude , HKUST is just a backup for you then.
i got AIR 670 in JEE 10 , but did not get EEE.
in bits i got that.
went there.
bits has recently opted for an exchange program with both hku and ust.
so now in a dilemma.
where to go.

670 is a decent score, why didn’t you pick IIT over BITS ?
Actually, I’m not into the Indian system of education and hence I would like to venture abroad. It’s more exciting and as challenging as the BIT/NITs if not the IITs :)

Hi guys I have my HKUST interview in 27th of this month for the dual degree program in technology and management. Can you give me some tips or information on what to expect. The whole idea of a telephone interview kills me. I got 10 As in my O levels a 2050 in my SAT 1 with a decent extracurricular. I took SAT 2 this 22nd and my predicted grades in my A level are A*s in maths and physics and As in Further mathematics and Chemistry. What are my chances for getting scholarship. I have also applied to HKU.

@fahadCharfraz

I guess u have a very good chance of getting in. Your grades are outstandinng.Good luck chupppeeee.

Im an international student with 7 A’s in the GCE O levels and 3 A’s (Math- 98%, Chem- 91 %, Physics- 97%) in my AS- Levels. I have received straight A* predicted grades from my teachers. I have a TOEFL of 110. What are my chances at HKUST? You think I might be able to pull off an unconditional offer?

@AmmarWingal
Thank you for your reply I will make sure they send you an interview call!

I applied EA for CUHK too and I haven’t heard from them either. But I read somewhere on their web that decisions will come out from Jan to March… Most likely 'cause so many ppl applied this year.

@SATFailure

No, I don’t think HKUST gives out unconditional offers. They’ll probably give you an offer of AAB or ABB.

anyone get a reply from hku?

No replies for me yet. Hope I get one this month.

HI; have any got an interview call for PhD in electronic engineering from HKUST. ???

Please do reply if some one have applied for it…

Regards;

HKU applicants can check their application process online tomorrow
