Hi guys!
Could you please rate my chances for HKU or HKUST.
Currently, I am a student of another university on a diploma programme.
I meet the national exam requirement (all grades are excellent), SAT1 - 2100, SAT 2- 2220
Sat for GCE A-levels this November, the results are
maths A*
phys A*
furt maths A
economics A

No notable CCA’s, unfortunately.
And if possible, those who got admitted, could you post your grades(A-levels) please?
Thanks!

Hi, I submitted my application on 15 Oct. I had my interview on 6 Dec.

Yes, I’m a Chinese.

@ahtesham, hi! thanks for response, have you already been given an offer?
what are your stats?)

@elisexia, I am too :slight_smile: I heard HKU expects more from Chinese even though we apply as an international students. I submitted mine November 15th, but I haven’t heard back yet. :frowning: Only few days left in Jan!

^^ I lost hope long time ago. No more worried :D

@barcelotinae
Oic, I’m a Chinese from SG. I grow up in SG.
Anyway, if I really cannot make it into HKU, I will go for local uni! :)

@elisexia
If you are from SG, why don’t u go into NUS or NTU? =) it’s, in my opinion, so easy to get in there with Singapore A-levels. Internationals, like me, struggle for the place =)

i want to apply for HKU next year.
Does anyone know anyone that got 100% scholarship into HKU? and their grades?

@kandinsky1
Of course they are good universities as well & I believe I won’t have problem going there since I did pretty well for my preliminary exam such that I even got scholarship invitations from them.
But I still prefer & would really like to study Journalism in HKU. Whereas, for both NUS & NTU, they don’t have this course. So if I don’t get into HKU, I’ll go for mass comm. in NTU. (Sadly, NUS don’t have such media related course)
