Hello tomandjerry, how do you know the international applicants are less this year? I thought it became more competitive this year but i could be wrong since i don’t love in hk… do you live there and have u applied for hk? Thanks in advance for the answers! :)

hello mingningforwin…what are your predicted scores? even I am waiting for my results from HKU HKUST and CUHK just like bluetimberland!

Hello aditya i got 35 but i will be retaking this may to increase by 38… i already let the school know hoping they might give me conditional offer What’s ur ib score? and what majors have u applied for?

@aditya496 Aditya I read ur message but i couldnt reply you since i dont have enough number of posts to send private msgs. Well I havent submitted my SAT scores as i think it’s rather too low. I applied for all the BBA courses in CUHK/HKU/HKUST… I am super worried since I still haven’t heard from any of the schools while some of my friends are getting the offers. And those universities are the only universities I applied for! U can just msg me and i will try to reply u! : )

Any ISC Indian applicants here or just Indian applicants in general who haven’t gotten their decisions.

@mingming: Oops, forgot to respond. I’m an American student, so I’m applying with SAT I and II scores and my AP scores. SAT I is 2280, SAT II is 800 Chem, 790 US History, 750 Literature, and 5s on 6 AP Tests.

TOEFL- 111
Some ECs including volunteer serv.
I applied for engineering and science

@ pisking
Yup deposit is added to your first sem tuition fee

you’ve got a pretty gd chance.

the hkust admissions system works like this. if kids who’ve already got offers don’t pay their deposits within 15 days to reserve their seat, the hkust admissions office gives their seat to somebody else. so usually there’s a fortnight gap between one bunch of offers and the other. i got my offer about 5 days ago, so if i dont pay my deposit in 10 days, the admissions office will send my offer to somebody else. so assuming no one downright declines their offer, u shud expect an offer frm ust by the end of march or the 15th of march.

only one person in our entire school has gotten an offer frm hku. so, im guessing they’re still sending their first batch of offers.

even if you dont get an offer soon, dont be disheartened, there’s bound to be people who dont wanna dish out 3000 dollars to reverse seats of hk unis.

@ aditya496

i read ur message but cant reply cuz i dont have enough posts yet. :(

Are you an early or main rounder!?

@tomandjerry hey man … I think It is you who should look at the stats ok??? If you have some that prove your point of view then give me the links ok?? I think it is easy for you : If you did not study in HKUST than you’re not allowed to enfluence others decisions based on some stuff that you heard and you are not sure of … and if you did study in HKUST than I have to tell you that this is your problem , I know a lot of people who have succeeded there .
And what about the rankings , I have some professors in HKUST , they say always that the quality of teaching is great …
about Germany I want to tell you that you missed the right forum , this is just for hk Universities so go to Germany and we’ll talk and see , don’t forget to spend that year learning Deutsche , see you

Any fast-track applicants still waiting to receive an offer?

@hk12345 i am a regular applicant!

@mingmingforwin
I’m a fast-track applicant of HKUST and HKU.
I got my offer from HKU but not from HKUST… since November.
