@hk12345 Oh i see but i guess that means your applications are now reviewed as regular applicants… And many regular applicants still havent heard yet so let try to not worry so much phew. Oh btw did you do IB diploma?

hello hk12345!

Hey guys
quick question- are applications rejected at one go when all slots are filled up or are they rejected if and when they are considered ineligible for admission?

I took APs instead of IBs so I got a firm offer, not a conditional one.

@hk 12345 congrats dude I take it that u are a jupas applicant

@Mohamedwessim----- i don’t need to explain…let me tell you i am still holding my position in hkust… and yeah USD10000 is just a reward for me. you are acting like morons go get some air… look at jobs you will get under Chinese bosses … i am here to share my idea and help others so that they don’t get cheated in the fancy world of hong kong. why don’t you just visit and meet here…i will let you know all ******* stuff going on… HK can never be a substitute for USA education. keep in your mind. Leave the rest go to germany den talk.

Ok , fine I think I see what you mean now , thanks anyway .

@tomandjerry

Hello tomandjerry do you happen to know entrance IB score for Business in HKUST? Please let me know if you happen to know! THANKS!

Hi there!

I’m just wondering if any of you have heard of/know anything about the likelihood of “negotiating yourself in” to HKU if you’ve missed an offer by a small margin. My offer is 43 IB points. Is it likely I will be able to get in if I only have 42 points?

Thanks a lot! It would be VERY appreciated if anyone could contribute and put my mind to ease! 43 is a very tough offer :(

@dubyawhy What major have you applied? My fren tried to negotiate last time but the school didnt accept the offer!

@mingmingforwin I applied for BBA(Law). Can you tell me what program your friend applied for, what grades HKU wanted, and what he got?

Anyone else wanna chime in? Getting stressed out here…

@dubyawhy He applied for econ&finance!I think they were requiring 39 and 7 for economics the school didn’t back out… but thats all i know lol well at least u got conditional offer! I am getting really desperate since i havent heard from any other schools. Also, it seems most of the ppl are getting the results by now…

Did anyone else apply to ivy leagues? Decisions out in less that 12 hours… Don’t know what to expect

HKU changed their status on their international admissions page to “most of the places for non-local students are filled” [Undergraduate Admission | HKU International Student Admissions](http://www.als.hku.hk/admission/intl/admission)
My status for engineering and engineering science is unsuccessful but science is still under consideration though and im freaking out.
HKUST portal still says my application is under consideration.

Hello, guys, I have just been admitted to the HKUST MSc in Global Operations programme, it is a new programme, so there are no people to answer any questions about this particular programme… But I wonder if Graduate Business school in HKUST is worth it for the european student to get into.
I have a choice between HKUST and Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Buisness School - MSc in Supply Chain Management and have no idea which one to choose…

What do they look for in admission? What are positive fly throughs?
