Well, I mailed HKU regarding the application of my status and they said that it was not available at this cycle of the admission exercise and said that it would be available from Feb. I guess they are delaying the results a bit this year.

hi…did any Indian applicants get an acceptance from HKU ? I believe HKU has started giving out offer to Indian Applicants
Hey everybody, just giving a heads up that HKUST has extended their regular deadline through January 31st apparently. So it’s a little longer we’ll have to wait before we can start worrying about it again. Maybe it’s an applicant number issue in which case that’s at least some semblance of good luck for us.
Hi guys! I’m from Indonesia and I need some advise on which to choose between HKU or HKUST. I got admission offers from both HKUST (School of Business and Management) and HKU (B. Econ/Fin). I have already paid my deposit for HKUST since the offer came first. However, I haven’t received the offer letter from HKU, but it is stated in my application status that I receive a conditional offer.
Which one do you guys think is better?
I received an offer from HKU but haven’t got the formal letter yet. How long does that take?

@adoc111- What stats? I was a CBSE student with 92% and applied for B. Eng computer science. I scored 113/120 in TOEFL iBT and 2100/2400 in SAT. 800/800 in Chem and 730/800 in Maths

@maddy09-Yes, I got my offer letter yesterday. They said on calling that Scholarship details will be given later.
