The headbands were a big hit with both Ds and they loved the isotoner gloves! Favorite was probably the Coach purses.

S loved the junk food, movie and i-tune gift cards with wallet and I-Home recharging station with alarm clock but said his best present was that he didn’t have to go on a family vacation this Christmas (8 hr each way to see the granny). We flew her in for Thanksgiving so don’t feel too bad about that one. He was really smiling when he said it and seemed sincere rather than smarty.

D looked at us when she saw the I-Home wondering why she didn’t get one. Maybe next year if we like it.

My D has had the same I-Home for about 4 years…though she’s had more than one I-pod. Since it comes with adapters, she can use all her different devices. I think it’s a quality product.

The touch gloves were also a big hit here, except for my husband who has big hands. I’m going back to the store to look for a larger size for him. Ironically, I got a pair of the women’s gloves for myself and realized when wrapping that the set was missing one glove! I got those at Walmart and am doubtful of getting the mate. Too bad it was the right one that was missing, or I would not have minded so much.

Got S a Kindle 2 (refurbished, wanted 3G but didn’t want to pay $189 for Kindle 3). He loves it. Too much I think. He has been up late every night since reading. God forbid he do this reading during normal waking hours, those are reserved for gaming and friends. I may have to make him leave it downstairs at night once he returns to school.

mamom, You have my dream child. My boys would put a Kindle just after underwear on their Christmas lists :-(.

the harryPotter books were a hit.

AllTHis- He is the only boy I know who loves reading as much as he does. shhhh…don’t let his friends know.

I acquired a hand mixer, a food processor, a deep fryer, and some long underwear all under $80 with kohls gift cards and after christmas sales. Santa brought me some dairy-free cookbooks, so I have been going to town. I made dairy-free cheesy crackers yesterday and a grilled “un-cheese” sandwich, and today is dairy-free pizza rolls and donuts.

abasket, Our JCPenney’s had their isotoner gloves 60% off today. Possibly the fact that it’s been in the upper 70’s lately has caused the lack of interest, but you might try your Penneys or maybe online.

AllThis, I did try out JCP’s here…only a couple of pair and they were small sizes - that was three weeks before Christmas!

ALCOHOL want kind of college students doesn’t love free alcohol …
