Not a big fan of the blue smart touch gloves at walmart but I found a link that lists all the stores (on-line and brick and mortar) where you can buy them. [ISOTONER smarTouch | Give the Gift of Touch Sweepstakes](http://www.smartouchgloves.com/wheretobuy.htm) I have a shopping goal for tomorrow!

FYI, I stopped at our Walmart this morning and picked up two pairs of the ISOTONER smarTOUCH in a black/grey combo for $12 each. The $4 extra was worth it to get the more neutral color. They did also have them (and plenty of them!) in the blue, a purple, a hot pink - I think that was it. I tried it with my Itouch - definitely worked though you need to make sure your fingers are fully in the fingers.

One pair for D and one pair for S’s GF who has a birthday next week. :)

Thanks a BUNCH to the poster who mentioned them!!! Now I just need to find a men’s pair for H!!!

You are welcome abasket! There are mens gloves in different brands. Hmmmm…maybe Eddie Bauer??? Will check and see if I can find the link.

I got the last pair of womens smart touch gloves at my local Walmart in black. They didn’t have any for men so I went to the BonTon store (department store) and they had them - but just for men!

My D is a HS senior & already accepted at Rutgers. She wants Rutgers apparel & stuff. easy enough, as we live in NJ!

I just want to say I love this thread. I love the [ThinkGeek :: Stuff for Smart Masses](http://www.thinkgeek.com) website. So perfect for a couple of my “geeky” kids.

Another nice gift for female college students: the big chunky, handknit earbands/headbands are very popular around here and very hard to find right now. D2 says the girls are going crazy over them.

Ramen Noodle Spoon/Fork $14.00

$14 for a spork to eat 10 cent ramen??! Santa…have you had too much eggnog? :D

Wasted tons of time and gas looking for the handknit handband for D. Finally found it online at etsy for $10 plus $4 shipping. Was thrilled! Great handmade items and good ideas.

Can somebody link to a handknit headband? Sounds good for a D in MA where it was snowing yesterday but I don’t know what they are.

My sophomore daughter is asking for a recorder she can use in class. Does anyone know of a good one that doesn’t cost the earth? I thought her iPod had one, but apparently not.

After getting next semester’s tuition bill in the mail yesterday, I’m seriously considering putting it in a box with a big old bow and calling it good. ;)

Ramen Noodle Spoon/Fork $14.00

These sporks are also a knife & you get 4 for $10.

These tie dyed headbands and ponytail holders are popular in our area and make great stocking stuffers. I am going to buy some and divide them between my two girls.
I am also going to ask my D about the above crocheted headbands since she is living in a cold climate. I don’t see my D with a big flower though. I would have to find a plain one.

Urban Oitfitters has some headband ear warmers, and if you order this weekend, the shipping is free. Here is one style (I hope my iPhone will let me post a link):

Thanks you all…I found one at Belks. Nice bright color and the flower can easily be removed by snipping a few threads. I’d put a pin on the back so it could be used or not as you please.

Yes…you can get plain ones too! Some even have the big wooden buttons.

zeebamom-- I use this one for class and it is excellent, records my professors from the back of big lecture halls no problem.

I’ve had it three semesters now with no issues. I put it in an outer pocket of my purse and let it sit on the floor and it records no problem.
