My package from New Mexico to NYC is finally supposed to arrive today. Sent on December 11 (USPS).

Yay! People have confirmed they got their packages. Only 2 more are awaiting confirmation—one recipient is on a trip thru early Jan and my S hasn’t said he got his package.
I’m beyond frustrated.
The saga of the Christmas gifts package mailed to Okinawa on 11/15 continues. It was rejected by US Customs in Chicago on 11/20 (I inadvertently put a vibrating teething toy in for newest grandchild, batteries are not allowed). USPS.com tracking status says it is Return to Sender. But my Informed Delivery says it was Released from Customs on 12/2 and clicking further says Package Not Found: The package you are looking for does not exist or could not be found.
The USPS personnel can only see what is on the USPS site, not what Informed Delivery shows me. They say it is on the way back to me. Customs says it was released and no longer with them. I cannot, for some IT reason, get a missing mail inquiry started. Neither could the kind Customer Service rep who tried.
Then FedEx shows my last outstanding item on its way to VA, due 12/23, from IL with a stop in Hagersstown, MD. This morning I get a notice it will arrive 12/24. It has been diverted to Syracuse, NY!

It looks like a bathrobe I ordered from TikTok for my son’s girlfriend is MIA (last update was in Queens), why did I listen to my daughter for gift advice. I canceled an Amazon order for don’t being delivered, only to find it in the house later (it definitely wasn’t delivered on the day it said it was delivered). It was only $30 but karma makes me nervous, so I’ll order again from that company. Today I wrap. I’m gifting a daughter and boyfriend a cooking class experience, but it’s a digital email and arrives immediately so I’m hoping I don’t forget to send it on Christmas. Final items arrived yesterday so I just need to wrap them and I will be ready except I need to pick up some cards to put $ in. I will try and get to that today

Received our last order from Amazon today. Ordered (and was billed for) a new paperback children’s book. We could not find it locally. They sent a used version that was not in good condition. Back it goes. Last-minute shopping we go. Remind me again to avoid Amazon!
