That’s lovely! Another wonderfuly meaningful gift we received recently was a framed watercolor painting of our family (based on a photo posted on Facebook). This was perhaps the most thoughtful and unexpected gift ever for us and I think it would make a great gift for many others.
For us, it was particularly touching as it came from a 20 year old refugee whose own family is incomplete due to war and she had commissioned an artist from her home country.
I’m putting in a recommendation for REI. They may be a little expensive/don’t tend to have a lot of sales, but they go above and beyond in the customer service department, and they have a pretty amazing return policy.
I second that! We bought some bike equipment for Mr. B before the sale… we went back to shop the sale, and I asked the clerk if we could get the discount on the stuff we already bought, and their policy is price adjustment within 14 days. So we got $60 back! Yay.

Price matching from the Rothy site. And shipped from Rothy. I might have ordered a pair. 
I suspect if a pair isn’t marked down, Nordstrom will price match.
Now to hope that they fit my picky feet.
It looks like a few places have the Dyson cordless vacuum on sale now - Dyson, Target, Kohls. We love ours!
I posted this in the Black Friday thread today but realized BF is “over” so I probably should have posted here for recommendations.
Any recommendations for a front/rear dash cam? S23 doesn’t really need anything so I’m having a hard time coming up with ideas. He bought a car earlier this summer so I thought it would be a nice surprise gift. I’ve looked at reviews on various websites but hard to know if these are paid sources (and there is not any one brand that seems to be recommended by more than one site).
