<p>wow, congrats, that must have been difficult since you didn’t have any teachers to give you recommendations. how did that work out for you by the way?</p>
<p>It worked out great and we got financial aid at all three schools.</p>
<p>oh wow! was the application process any different because you technically don’t have anyteachers?</p>
<p>itsren- I’m homeschooled at the moment but was in public school last year (hated it): Not sure about Ryanone, but I’m homeschooled through an online program in which there are actual teachers, there’s just minimal contact (through email, etc.). They had me ask my teachers from last year and the year before, as well as a few from this year. </p>
<p>Oh, and I was accepted at NMH but waitlisted for financial aid, so we’ll see. :|</p>
<p>My daughter has taken Stanford EPGY classes for the last three years, so she does have teachers to ask for recommendations other than her parents.</p>
<p>We did have to submit our home-school curriculum for examination. However, my daughter has been using a lot of AP material, so a lot of our curriculum does not look a lot different than what might be used in a traditional school.</p>
