<p>I’m sure that with the school year almost coming to an end, or maybe completely independent of that, many of us have lots trouble motivating ourselves to do our homework and don’t start it until very late at night or even the wee hours of morning. I can only speak for myself, but my situation is so extreme that there is rarely a day that I don’t start my homework after 1am.</p>
<p>So, I thought we could try a homework completion thread, in which those of us who are interested in participating can work together to hold each other accountable for starting our homework and finishing it by a certain time.</p>
<p>I’m not entirely sure if this will work out, but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try anyway!</p>
<p>If you’re interested, post the time you are starting your homework, how much homework you have, and post the time you hope to finish it by. Then at the time that you are supposed to finish it by, come back to this thread and give us an update on how far you’ve gotten with your homework. Be honest! This is to help YOU gain efficiency in completing your homework, and perhaps even reform your study habits if you can stay committed enough.

<p>What are you talking about “school year almost coming to a close” granted we’re all over halfway but IMHO the “home strech” isn’t for about a month.</p>

<p>Well it’s going to take some degree of self-discipline, but I thought that maybe setting yourself a goal and knowing that other people are setting themselves similar goals too would be somewhat motivational? No? </p>
<p>…I only have 3 months of school left. I’d consider that “school year almost coming to a close”, but maybe I’m overly idealistic. And c’mon, homework is a significant component of “High School Life”, whether you like it or not.</p>

<p>^Hahaha. For a second, I thought you made that up but then I looked it up on Google and found out it actually exists. How ironic that I made this thread during National Procrastination Week. Procrastination deserves to be celebrated; I guess this can wait until the 8th then.</p>
<p>Yeah, we get out end of April. Well, I guess technically first week of May with finals, but I only have one final so it’s whatever. </p>
<p>And then Costa Rica for study abroad :D.</p>
