Hours of school per week

holy crap akashbansal! You start at 5 am??? And start at 9am on weekends??? I wake up at 1pm-3pm in the weekends!
ehhh I feel so lazy compared to you all

I am out of school now, but in Romania you usually get 35 hours per week. There is a parallel school system though - consisting of private lessons, and some kids (somehow extreme case, not me) had another 2 hours every day. That means like 45 hours/week. But you’ve still got homework…

Most students in India have that sort of a routine. I for example had to wake up at ~4:30 in summer and 5:30 in winters and leave for school at around 5:30 and 6:30… but that was in grades 8,9,10… in 11th it was relaxed by an hour or so.

wake up at 4.30? wow. Imagine if you’re not a morning person… that would kill you!
But if you wake up that early, what time do you go to sleep?
I go to sleep around about 2am-3am and wake up at 7.45am = about 4.5 hours of sleep?
Imagine waking up at 4.30… that would be like 2 hours of sleep! you can only fit 1 movie in 2 hours!
Sorry, I’m just really surprised with this information (of waking up at 4.30)

That’s true students must wake up at such unearthly hours…

It was mainly because the assembly time was 6:50 (summers) and 7:50 winters, and it takes ~40 minutes to reach my school. AND I went by the first trip bus, which came at ~5:15… they had to do that coz they needed to fit in a second trip too!

Though in my case…well, I was always late after grade 8th :)
