Reviving this thread after watching the premier House of the Dragon Season 2.
Even with the âpreviously,â it took a while to remember who everyone is and what theyâve done to each other. I havenât gotten them all straight yet. Too many similar names!

Same here. And Iâll probably have to read a blog somewhere to get all the nuances I likely missed. Too much time in between series seasons these days.

Youâre right about similar sounding names. I thought the plan was to kill Aegon, not Aemond.
Just found this summary, which helped me a LOT! No season 2 spoilers in it.

I watched the first season but wasnât wild about it so think I will skip Season 2. The only character I liked was the young Rhaenyra - the actress playing her was great. And since she was replaced by the adult actress, the show wasnât as compelling. And all the actors having silver wigs just made it so much more harder to tell them apart. Let me know if I am wrong to skip it. I often wonder how the other prequel they were planning which wasnât picked up would have been like. Naomi Watts was in it and I love her.
