I’m really stressed because my parents want me to get into Yale/Princeton/Cornell but I’m pretty sure I don’t have a chance, but if you can, can you leave suggestions as to what to do during junior/senior year for me to have more of a chance?

I really love Williams too!

Thanks guys!

PS!
I forgot to mention I really want to go into Architecture and i’m taking classes to build a portfolio.

I’m also part of our school’s InventTeam(MIT) that hopefully will final :)

If you can’t get into Cornell, I don’t have a chance. So hopefully you are doing fine. I would say you have a great shot at all of those colleges.

If you want to go into Cornell AAP, your academic record only makes up around 1/3 of the things for admission. The portfolio and interview are heavily weighted. And when they say they want a portfolio, they mean normal artwork, not architectural drawings. They just want to see that you have the ability to draw things in 3D and that you possess creativity- they’ll teach you the rest. If you have entered a bunch of art competitions, put some of your winning pieces (or pieces that have come close to winning). The extra class isn’t necessary.

Thanks! :)

keep up what you’re doing, your resume is fine for your schools :]

Go to the school where you feel you fit in, not based on parental expectations- from a parent.

If you are from Georgia, Georgia Tech has a great architecture program, is really cheap [in-state] and well worth it overall
