I don’t have any other symptoms of sickness other than fever-like, a mild cough, and my head feels full of fluid… I know you’re not all doctors, but do you have any advice?

Yeah, only SOME of us are doctors.

I only play one on College Confidential.

Not as bad as a 102.8 degree fever

I messed up and went to school with a fever last month. I was in the twilight zone for a while and didn’t realize it until the fever actually went away.

Why don’t you just stay home or go to the doctor? We can’t help you much besides telling you that 102.7 is a high fever. Personally, I hate meds, so the second option was a no-brainer. “No, mom, I’m not sick.”

Uhh just stay home. I’d say unless it goes up, you don’t need to go to a doctor? It won’t kill you, most likely. The highest I’ve had was about 106… but that landed me in the hospital. Just stay home, probably no need for a doctor. But don’t blame me if something happens…

102.7 no kill you! Go school!

^Lololol. I used to do that. Until I threw up in school and they yelled at me for not staying home when I had a fever…

Meh, I haven’t missed a day of school since second grade.

Really, I haven’t been sick enough to miss school since second grade. I mean, I get this ear infection every year but that’s not too bad and it goes away in a day or two.

I’ve only ever been sick once in my life. I got the flu and missed a week of school. I thought I was going to die with all the make up work.

I had a fever of 103 and, at first, it was my only symptom. It turned out I had the flu (it’s going around). This was about 3 weeks ago.
