How bad will it hurt my GPA to fail a honors class

Current GPA 3.7 almost 3.8

I was homeschooled and I only have to take these 4 classes this semester and pass and I will have next semester off (early graduation)

Spanish 3 (honors)
Enviro science
French 1
English 4

I have all b’s and an A in French. The problem is I would also have a high A in Spanish but the way it’s set up there are 2 of us who are in Spanish 3 in a class with Spanish 2 and Spanish 1 students. So everything for me is online. I prefer online because I was homeschooled and know how to manage everything but I have turned things into her and she has them as a Zero when I have all the paperwork that has the grade she gave me. She keeps saying BS like oh it’s just not showing up, you have to go online and post it. But bottom line is I have done that and constantly remind her about it. Since the start of the semester i have been getting the same grade on progress reports and report cards as my parter even though i do twice as much work as her and do EVERYTHING she post including projects worth 250 points that she has me down for a zero as and i worked my a** off on the project. The Semester has technically ended but I feel I’m not going to pass because of all the Zeros she has me listed as after I take my final exam that will calculated in with the 89 I currently have. So needless to say I am pretty frustrated. I want to know how badly this is going to hurt my GPA if I fail or make a C or an B.

If you truly turned in your assignments on time and she continues to loose them this is something you need to take up with the school. That being said, how much the grade will hurt you depends on what schools you are looking at…

If you can make a C or a D, it will certainly be better than an F. Even with a weighted GPA, if an A is a 4.5, for example, a B a 3.5, a C a 2.5, and a D a 1.5, an F is still 0. If you fail, you don’t receive credits for the class (and consequently, zero grade points).

Unweighted semester GPA with an F in Spanish:
(3.0+3.0+4.0+0)/4=2.5, which is typically considered a C+ average for the semester. Anytime you calculate averages, a 0 will hurt you. Lots.
