How can an International student get into NYU as an undergraduate for Computer Science.Read details.

So I am international student from Pakistan, currently residing in Saudi Arabia.
Academically I’m doing fine.
2100 SAT.
3 AP classes (Physics B, AP Macroeconomics and Computer science) with A’s in them.
Extra curricular activities. Here’s the problem.I don’t have any real extra curriculars.Saudi Arabia doesn’t offer any extra curricular activities for International Students looking to apply to US colleges. The most we are offered is basketball and football at school.I’m trying to run for a secretary position in the student council and that’s about it.Comparing to students in the US who have crazy EC’s,my chances look really meager. What can I do to improve them?

Don’t worry about competing against other Americans – you’re not. Your competition is other international students.

The most important factors for a school like NYU are your SATs/grades and being a FULL PAY student. Schools know that many international students don’t have the same opportunities as Americans. That said, they do want to know what you do outside of school. What are your passions? Interests? Accomplishments? What can you contribute to the campus?

PS If you need financial aid, don’t apply to NYU. The school is famous for being very stingy with financial aid/scholarships.
