^^ If you’re questioning my grade or wondering how my grade even go there, it’s due to lacrosse. Lacrosse, because the games would be right after seventh and because of this, I wasn’t able to ask any questions and review the material with him. We had away games all week! I know, I know, school comes first and I made the mistake by putting lacrosse first. What can I do to convince them reassure them I can handle double maths and I’ll be focused. What can I say
What math classes?
Geometry and Algebra II
Do you mean you bombed one or two tests that dropped your grade to an 89? If so, just explain that slip-up and that you’ve learned your lesson. There isn’t much you can do otherwise. If most of your test grades are solid, things might slide in your favor.
Also, is this 89 for a quarter, semester, or something else? If its a quarter or semester, and you have A’s in the other quarters/semester, that could be brought up too.
That’s my grade for the quarter. I’m planning on talking to them tomorrow
@LeopardFire ^^
If it was only a quarter grade, then I doubt it will be too concerning. Good luck!
If you made an 89 in only one quarter, and made A’s the rest of your quarters, and you maintained playing lacrosse at a high level, you sound like you have your act together, especially for someone so young. Explain that the one 89 made you realize that you are capable of making higher grades if you apply yourself just a little bit more. Often, getting an 89 vs. a 90 really means that you probably just missed one or two more test questions - not enough to determine knowledge in a class.
@LeopardFire @tutumom2001 Thank you guys so much! Very helpful
