<p>the act isnt offered in the philippines though, so i had to take the SAT.</p>
<p>a good way to raise CR scores is to read. like even the newspaper. and try to do crosswords to stimulate your mind. if time was what you lacked during the test, try this method: before reading the passage/selection, look at the questions first. so at least you know what you have to look for. rather than read a 200 word passage and then end up having to read it again once you reach the questions part.</p>
<p>if it’s the vocab, try looking for this book: “100 words every high school graduate should know” by american heritage dictionaries. it’ll make you feel quite dumb, but at least you’re gonna learn new words. :)</p>
<p>I am somewhat puzzled. Why does everyone say that the ACT is not offered in his country when the ACT website says that it is offered there? Were there that many ACT test centers added for the upcoming year? </p>
<p>vavalooey, though it does not really matter anymore there seem to be two ACT test centers in the Philippines (the International School Manila and Brent School in Baguio City)</p>
<p>The ACT is even offered at several sites in China where the SAT is not available.</p>

<p>i didnt know they offered the ACT at ISM, i mean, that’s where i took the SAT…last i checked that was all they offered. WAS I STIFFED?! :o <em>gasp</em> lol oh well, doesnt matter anymore…im <em>thankfully</em> done with those tests. a-woohoo! :)</p>
<p>I live in Tirana, but I had never heard anyone talk about the ACT here. Just checked it up myself, the other day and found out that it could be taken at the exact same testing center where I took the SAT. Mind my ignorance!</p>
<p>Took some practice from their site, seems good but it’s already late for me. I’m delved in SAT prep and quiting now would make me anxious.</p>

ACT seems not so hard but studying for it and getting accustomed will make me crazy as The SAT has done.BUt when u start studying SAT,ezpecially CR,TOEFL reading has become easier than ever.Though I am still worse on CR.</p>
