How do I format an answer on CC so that I am not editing constantly?

It seems that no matter how I write an answer I have to spend time “fixing” my response after I hit the save answer button.
How can I fix this? Typically, it splits sentences, or moves part of a paragraph away from the main body at random. I have tried to make sure that each sentence reaches the end of the page and while that helps it has not taken care of the problem. I find myself not responding because the editing is annoying. The preview looks great

but once I Post Discussion
it is a mess. And here is a typical example!

I noticed this today, for the first time ever. I made a post. I needed t correct one word. I deleted that word and put the correct word in. When I hit save and looked at the post several sentences were deleted and I had to go back in twice to fix it before it came out (somewhat0 correct. @CCadmin_Sorin @skieurope

I suspect it’s an issue on your end. Are you accessing CC from a phone? That could be the problem. I use CC on a desktop, Ipad, or android phone, and I have never seen this happen since I joined in 2014.

Using a desktop and this only happens on CC.

I have not had this issue.

I’ve never had this issue on a phone or laptop. What browser are you using? Safari and Chrome both work for me. Have you tried logging out and back in?

Are you dead certain that you are not accidentally hitting a return key or space bar in there? Take a look at how you hold your hands over the keyboard and try typing more slowly.

Safari. No, not hitting the return key, promise!

I have had this problem as well - in a quoted passage which I copied and pasted!

Remarkably…this is an issue I’ve never had!

When you copy and paste, it can carry with it the original formatting, which might have odd spacing or carriage returns that aren’t visible in the original. I’ve had that happen. But if you’re typing it yourself, I don’t see how you’re getting that weird result. :-?

Thanks but this is not copy and paste.
