<p>Any ideas? I want to be closer with my counselor but I don’t know how to approach it!! Advice?</p>
<p>The way I did it was when ever I had a question I asked my counselor, this showed her that I really cared about working towards my future. After many meetings she learned a lot about me, and how I work. During my junior year we both faced the same tragedy. My mother passed away, then only months later my counselors passed away. After my mom passed I spent a lot of time with my counselor trying to deal with everything that happened. Obviously this story is personal, and can’t be copied. </p>
<p>So my advice would be to always be polite and show that you have a strong desire to have a very successful future. Also, don’t hesitat to ask them questions and make meetings with them as that’s what they’re there for.</p>
<p>Do you go to a big school or a small one? How many kids is your counselor in charge of?</p>
<p>Just go for it, life is short. Worst thing that will happen is she says no</p>
