How do I get live bacteria cultures?

I need to obtain live bacteria cultures such as E. coli and staph for a science project?

What is the best way to get them???

Lolol that is so bizarre.

There is a lot of e. coli in toilets. So maybe you can swab some from one of your toilets and then smear the swab on a petri dish.

just ask around; lots of people are happy to supply the ones they have lying around

Ask a bio teacher? I’ve worked with e. coli a lot in biology.

Just swab any dirty surface and grow it in a culture. One classmate last year got really nice growth from bellybutton piercing swabs.

Uh… what everyone else is saying.

If you want just E. Coli you could probably get a pure sample from either a biochemistry lab or even your bio teacher.

Well, yogurt has live cultures… :P
