How do the SAT records work in high school?

<p>I’m a sophomore right now and scored a 229 on this year’s PSAT. I’m considering taking the SAT next summer, but was wondering how the system works in terms of high school transcript/records. Do all tests scores show up? Do only the top scores get sent to colleges when applying senior year? Or do the most recent scores get sent?</p>

…SAT scores don’t get recorded on your high school transcript/record. And colleges don’t even see PSAT scores. </p>

<p>And in terms of sending SAT scores out to colleges, it depends on the individual institutions. Check their websites to find out.</p>

<p>I was asking about the SAT specifically. Sorry if it was confusing, but what I meant was, do you have to list all of your SAT scores on the college application? Does the College Board send out your SAT scores automatically to colleges after the exam?</p>
