How do you deny admission to Princeton?

How do you deny admission to Princeton? Where do you go online to do so? I loved Princeton but am going to Yale.

Same here, Go to admissionsapp.princeton.edu/uaresponse/

The absence of notification of intention to matriculate is alone sufficient.

Colleges want to know where you’re going though.

That’s true, but if possible it’s generally better not to be a tool and tell the college that you’re not coming to give the people on the waitlist a bigger chance.

^ Yes, it might be preferable for the sake of courtesy, but why would it improve waitlistees’ chances of acceptance?

thank you!

The earlier the college hears about their final enrollment status, the more time they have to admit people off the waitlist. I’m not saying that this will help their chances of getting in, but it’s just pretty nice.

I guess I misinterpreted “bigger chance.”

^lol

Bugs, just curious, how did you, personally, decide on Yale instead of Princeton?

ok, that seems to make a lot of sense
