So the problem is, I have to take a photo of myself by means of the mirror reflection. The problem is that the camera keeps on covering up my face and eyes, no matter how far it is or no matter what angles I keep on using. I know it’s possible to take a photo of yourself by means of a mirror reflection - I know people who used those photos to post facebook pics of themselves. There isn’t a single extant photo of me in like the last year (except for pictures I take of myself by using no-flash and pointing them right at my head, which makes it look big, old, and ugly). So anyone have suggestions?

nvm: I thought of another idea: I pointed the camera at an angle, so it’s slightly tilted, instead of direct, and that works (intuitive optics). Somehow I forgot how to do that

I think if you hold your camera at arm’s length, it’s too close-up and the curvature of the lens distorts your image (and who wants that?). For the best results, I think you should place your camera on some kind of shelf, use a timer, and stand back.

lol why do girls like to take pics of themselves? not that anythign wrong with it, I just notice some girls take series of pics of themselves everyday

Yucca, why do you repeatedly criticise yourself on this forum? Are you that depressed? If humor was what you were going for, it really isn’t working.
