I am planning to double major in UVA. I need an employable major, so I’m deciding to take engineering, but I also want another major to look good when I am applying for graduate school.

I really have no clue on how the classes are structured in college and I just want to get a heads up on how achieving a double major work at UVA.

“an employable major”
“but I also want another major to look good when I am applying for graduate school”
These statements are contradictory. Grad schools 1) look for advanced classes and research in one major and 2) grad school doesn’t mean employable major (kind of the opposite usually).
Double majors are hard between schools (if you are in the engineering school you could do 2 engineering majors but that would be a LOT of work in itself). It is easier in the College (not engineering).

lol. K, that makes sense.

thanks haze
