I am an international high school student and was in 2008 summer sessions.

I did not intend to apply American colleges then, so I just casually chose two courses that appeared interesting to me, namely General Astronomy(4 units) and college writing( 1 unit)
and had a good time visiting SF.

But now as a junior, I’ve made up my mind going to the US for college and so wondered how my experience at Berkeley looks on my application.

I got an A & P, and found both of them rather… easy to get.

( As for collegewriting, I knew I made a big mistake cuz the first day I stepped into my classroom to find only koreans and chinese(no offensive meaning). I did not even know
whether it was an ESL course in the end.)

Seriously, I believe the courses in Berkeley should be hard, so I am regretful of not choosing a more challenging course.

I am worried about how admission officers will see it…

Honestly, I never want to choose a course that is easy.
I just could not imagine they would be so easy…

BTW, I did show a strong science interest in my app, so hopefully the astronomy
wont seem to be my random(casual) choice…But that’s just hopefully.

Or maybe I just worried too much cuz that was summer session and supposed to be not so
challenging? One thing that made me feel better was that there were American high school students in my class and they were really smart people.)
