Just curious, how many kids are in your class, and how many of them get recognized for rank? I have 700 in my class, 25 get recognized for ranking at a dinner ceremony.
There’s about 900 in each class, we’re ranked by weighted GPA, and the 1 and 2 rank do stuff at graduation. That’s all I know
My school doesn’t even rank.
There’s about 300 kids per class at my school, and the top 20 are recognized at a dinner each year.
My class has 735 kids in the Sophomore class. Apparently, everyone wanted their kid to be born in 2000 because we have 200 more kids than the Juniors and Seniors. I think Junior year those in the top 8 get recognized and Senior year the top 10 students get to attend a fancy dinner with their favorite teacher.
My school has around 275 kids per class. There’s an assembly for the top ten students.
I’ve never been told my ranking. I’m one of few students who actually care about their grades.
