I know it asks a couple of simple questions on the roommate form or whatever. But it seems like roommates are perfect fits very often, like when you look at pictures, a pretty girl always gets a pretty roommate. An average looking girl always gets the same. How does this work out, do you send a picture?

? I never noticed that, though I’m not in college yet.

That didn’t quite happen to my uncle. He attended a state college, but his roommates were both Chinese who could not speak fluent English. He was a farming kid with a drawl.

Take a look at your college friends on FaceBook.

“When you look at pictures”…that’s not reality.

I’ve spent many nights in different dorms with my friends, and I can tell you that’s not “very often” the case. That’s not to say most roommate matches are horror stories, they’re just pretty ordinary. Plus, statistically, most people are are in the “average” looking/acting category, so of course there will be plenty of average roommate pairs.
