Can anyone help me get an idea of the fee structures of A-Levels program at Rato Bangla? I intend to get my brother enrolled to a school with good A-Level program but am afraid I may need to pay a huge some if I choose to attend schools like RBS.
Please help me know how costly is it to attend RBS exactly.
Precise and detailed information would be appreciated.

Well I actually don’t know much about RBS’s fee structure (I went to another high-school) and I advise you to visit the school’s website if you haven’t (but I kinda feel you already have! :D). However, I do know a fact that students get scholarships of some sort, if they require any [I guess RBS meets full need! ].

A mutual friend of mine, from GEMS, attended RBS with such scholarship. But hey, that was nearly 2-3 years back, so forgive me if I turn out wrong here!

Anyways, best wishes to your brother for the entrance exams! I too intend to enroll my sister over there, but that’s still a year ahead of now!

Thank You @Mackmurderharder…
I hab already gone through the webste and couldn’t find the fee structures for A-Levels anywere.
However,I did notice the info that RBS provides need based aid

I’d say about 26k NRS a month- but the school is generous with scholarships- just be sure you apply for aid when you get the forms out first. That being said, admissions is pretty competitive, lol- about 350-400 applicants for about 40-50 seats.

@Neroketo…
26k?? That’s a huge sum
If you know, could you please tell me if it includes boarding fee,as well?

Rato Bangala isn’t a boarding school at all- so just tuition fees and transportation. But, I’ve said 26k bearing in mind there ought to be an increase from prior fee structures, so the sum may not necessarily be this much. I’m fairly certain that if a student needs finaid, and has demonstrated academic excellence, a 50% or so scholarship is not hard to get at all.

No matter what people say… you must have heard about some colleges in US who say they are need based but admit students according to the lower needs of the students. So, though Rato Bangla says it is need based, they accept those people who do not need financial aid That’s the strategy… I don’t know much but an uncle of mine who was in Rato Bangla Foundation said that its only their strategy. I suggest @nepaliwriter not to send your brother to Rato Bangla unless you have a plant of money because in Rato Bangla “the more the money, the friendlier they are”. If you are poor and somehow get into Rato Bangla, the students there won’t give a **** to you.
So, decide meticulously.
and not all RBS gets into good colleges. See the CCRC guy who got all the top universities of US.

@Vadraketa- A very unfair generalization again, my friend. The person who got into Columbia from RBS this year was receiving a 90% scholarship to attend RBS; the one who got into UChicago had a 50% scholarship. It’s absolute nonsense to say they don’t treat everyone on level footing.
But @nepaliwriter, while I understand why you would want to get your brother into RBS, it’s safe to say that if he were to have any of your stuck-up attitude and arrogance, don’t even bother trying.

@Neroketo-You seem quite familiar with my stuck-up attitude and arrogance ,right??? I didn’t know these are the MOST important traits one should have to get his/her ward admitted to RBS ?
Thank You,honestly ;)

I like how much sense you make, nepaliwriter :). That will help you a lot at Wesleyan.
