How far away do you want to go for college?

my dream school is usc which is like one hour away then one in hawaii which is like five hour plane ride then one in new york which is another five hour plane ride

Since I go to high school 3000 miles from home I’d like to be a little closer to home. Maybe be able to drive home.

Not a short drive though my parents live in Boston and my dream school is Yale.

land of far, far away where my parents can’t reach me.

Also a place where I probably will never go back unless it’s a school business.
I want to experience something new.

I want to go far away. It’s not so much that I want to get away from home, but I just don’t like where home happens to be. I plan on attending college roughly 2,000 miles away.

far away enough that I don’t get visited by my mom every weekend but close enough that I don’t have to take a flight. So staying on the east coast

I want to get as far away as possible. haha. I don’t want my dad visiting every weekend, nor coming to visit at all. But right now, the schools I am looking at are:
UCLA - Theater
Juilliard - Theater (I can dream, right?)
NYU Tisch - Theater
CMU - Theater (TOO CLOSE!!!)
haha.

Pretty far, like 5 hours far, but not so far that If I got into an accident my parentals wouldn’t know about.
My parents live in the States but htey’re in Mexico a lot,

so

UCLA-Is about 3 hours from US home, about 5 in Ensenada, 56 from Acapulco.
UC Berkeley-Is about 10 hours from US home, 14 from Ensenada, and IDK for Acapulco
UCR-Is about 1 hours from US home, 3 from Ensenada, 54 From Acapulco.
UCI-about 2 hours from US home, 2 from Ensenada, 55 from Acapulco.

UCLA is m,y top choice :)

I live in Hawaii, so pretty much anywhere else in the world. I’d prefer somewhere close to the ocean though
^^
.

Of nine schools, eight are within three hours flying. The closest driving would probably be 10 hours.

One is on the opposite coast though. A solid 3000 miles away.

I’m going to be five hours away from home. So its not to far but far enough for me

Half in my home-state(Maine), and then half out of state. As of now, I am planning on SMCC, which is about a half hour away from my house. After two years there, I will HOPEFULLY be able to transfer out of state. Idk though, Maine isn’t an awful state, and staying here wouldn’t be the end of the world…I’d just prefer a change of scenery and whatnot. :]

Not too far…No more than 6 hours by car.

I’m planning on Yale, or Stanford and I live in the mid west.
So like? Half the country to both schools?

Not far at all. Very close. I live in the suburbs of NYC, and I really love my area. I’m very close to my family and I don’t think I would be able to be too far away for too long. I don’t have to forfeit being close to home for a spectacular education, because obviously there are many great schools in the area (the city). My top choices are all within an hour’s drive of my hometown. The farthest school is four hours away by car.

Anywhere that is 3 hours away.

Most likely I will go to UCSD, which is 20 mins away.

-.-

I must go to UCB! ACCEPT ME I DONT WANT TO LIVE IN SD!

Boston.

I live in central Maine.

FAR, FAR AWAY.
My top choices are in the far northeast and I live in South Florida.

Emp are you stupid? Florida’s got hot chicks on every street corner, what are you THINKING!

Doesn’t matter how far I go away… My girlfriend and I are probably going to the same college anyway(Maybe UCB or UCLA)

I want to go as far away as possible, preferably an area that gets winter. I’m sick of Texas!!
