I mean, two free periods will definitely help. I had one free period my Junior year, and it was really a godsend. It helps with getting homework completed, last minute studying before tests, a simple break from the constant stress of AP classes, etc. I think that 6 APs is a lot, but a lot of the work/stress can be offset by the two free periods.

As for your courses, AP Calc BC and AP Physics B seem to be the most challenging unless you have a particular affinity for math.

AP US is really tedious and a lot of detailed information which lends itself to a lot of note taking, but the course itself is conceptually easy to understand. Stay on top of the reading and you’ll be set.

AP Lang for me was a breeze, but that was because I have always had a particular talent in writing, and from the very start, I was scoring 8’s on my essays. However, many students did struggle in my class and found themselves questioning how they could improve their writing as they seemed resigned to near constant 1’s and 2’s on papers. If you have any innate talent as a writer and are motivated to work hard to improve yourself, Lang should be pretty easy.

I take Latin, not Spanish III, but at my school, Spanish III was pretty easy and it was a Freshman/Sophomore course with the majority of students being non-native speakers that found little difficulty with it.

I have no idea about Com Sci other than it has impressive score distributions, I believe.

A lot of this will depend on your teachers, which we obviously don’t know.
Based on my experience, AP Lang doesn’t have much homework. I’m fair at English and did well.
APUSH all depends on if you’re interested. If you’re not, you’ll be bored out of your mind in a minute. However, it is a lot of work.

Also, at my school Spanish III is a moderate class.

If you’re stressed, I’d buy your APUSH book, I did and read it over the summer, it helped so much during the school year!
