I didn’t really know which forum to put this in, but here is my question, how important is the college you go to? Will it really make a difference if I go to a very respected school or not?

Just find a school you can go to for 4 yrs of your life, if not more. If going to a “respected school” means torture for you, don’t do it. If it is like that, you probably will have a difficult time succeeding.

No two people are alike, so no two people are going to have the exact same college experience, even those who go into the same major at different schools. Some kids fit best at the Ivies, while others fit the LAC mold, while still others will be happiest at their state flagship. In the end, if it doesn’t feel right to spend 4 years there, then don’t.
