hey everyone, I heard darden is a good school. thinking about doing post-graduate there? should I or should I not? help please… I’m just a sophomore…

It is an extremely good school. Darden’s main method of teaching is based on the case method, which can make for a harder program, but allows you to get real world experience, and an amazing business education.

If you don’t go to UVA right now, Charlottesville is also a great city to live in.

Thanks for your comment! What about the job perspective there?

Darden is pretty darned awesome, really sweet facilities there. As for job prospects in Charlottesville, it really depends on what kinds of jobs you want to get. If you want your schedule flexible restaurant job, there are definitely tons. Or if you meant job prospects upon graduating from Darden, I’ve never heard of a Darden student finding it difficult to get a job.

Cheers from the UVA student blog @ uvalife.blogspot.com

The Darden MBA program is excellent but you will need several years of quality work experience to have a competitive application.

c-otwa, I just read that Darden will be hosting more than 40 admissions receptions this Fall throughout the U.S. and internationally for prospective MBA students. Click on this link and go to the Events section of the page to see if they’re coming to your area.
