i appealed while on the wait list but haven’t heard anything yet… I"ll call on tuesday and ask if they’ve already sent out batches… most of the staff members i’ve talked to are nice and are willing to answer your questions

I called twice in these two months and one was kind of sassy towards me so I dont like calling anymore
I mainly just asked how the wait list process was going to be- found out that they would not be coming out on the 15th & asked if they would be coming out in batches or on a single day. The guy I talked to answered all my questions pretty straightforward and kindly. He basically made it sound like they will be admitting wait listed students. Plus he told me they’re just really busy and trying to figure everything out. guess it just depends on who you’re talking to when you call! but it is part of their job to communicate with students, so if you have an eager question to ask that you think they’ll be able to answer, don’t be scared to call!
@mnada99 oh okay thanks! Yeah I have never talked to a male on the phone. Out of the two women I talked to, one was super cranky and took it out on me so I guess it depends on how they feel as well

i appealed and on my portal it still says pending so idk… it doesnt seem like a large batch of freshman acceptances have been released tho

Do you think I can submit an appeal saying that I’m willing to switch majors? I applied to an impacted, popular major and I really think that’s hurting my chances.
